Space heating to provide adequate warmth inside residential houses, lodges, restaurants and other facilities in the hills and mountains can be done with solar heating The solar space heating system can be:- an active system which requires conventional energy to operate it,
- a passive system which operates entirely on a renewable energy available in the immediate environment.The passive heating of buildings through solar energy involves the integrationof the system into the structure of the building itself. The system works in three ways:- Collection of the suns rays,- Storage of the heat collected, - Release of the heat in a useful way.In this article we want to introduce "Passive and Active Solar systems" and to give examples of these systems.
