چکیده مقاله:

Cement plants are recognized as one of world’s most polluting industries with major impacts on environment. PM10 or Total Suspended Particles produced by a cement plant has destructive impact on human and its living environment. Cement Industry in Iran has established in early 1930’s and today, the total capacity of cement plants in Iran is over 70 Million Tons per annual. One of the leading cement plants in country is Tehran cement plant. In this research, AEROMOD Modeling is deployed to measure PM10 Dispersion and spread from train no. 4 in Tehran cement plant, both annually and seasonally. PM10 Dispersion is maximized in winter and then in fall according to outputs resulting from the modeling. Based on the same report, the annual average of PM10 is 8 g detected 2000 m east of the plant and 1200 m south of the plant. This average is within the acceptable limit set by NAAQS. AEROMOD is useful software which can be utilized both in analysis of PM10 and its impact on environment.
