Using the Distributed Embedded System to Monitor and Control Power Distribution Network

This paper presents the using of comprehensive embedded systems in monitoring and controlling the distribution network. We have designed andimplemented a special executable platformpowered by our real time operating system based on AVR and ARM microcontrollers. The designed platform with the userfriendly capability is able to organize its operation according to needs. Designed platform uses from ZIRAK operating system which is supported by AVR and ARM microcontroller and it has the capability to matching with most existent communication protocols such as ZigBeeand DTSN. Detection of fault location and recognition of the electricity theft are two important applications of this design.
