Fault tolerant in wireless sensor network

One of the most considerable factors in wireless sensor networks(WSNs),is fault tolerant. All the algorithms try to do their best effort to improve the performance. Self-configuring wireless sensor networks can be invaluable in many civil and military applications for collecting, processing, and disseminating wide ranges of complex environmental data. WSNs consist of lots of tiny node and it is no longer useful when battery dies, so to avoid this issue fault tolerant is very important. LEACH (Low-Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy) protocol is one of the significant protocols for routing in WSN. In LEACH, sensor nodes are organized in several small clusters where there are cluster heads in each cluster. These cluster Heads(CHs) gather data from their local clusters aggregate them & send them to the base station(BS). On the LEACH many new schemes have been proposed to enhance its activity like its efficiency, security etc.
