Triangular Network of Quantum Nanorings as a Spintronic Device

A network of quantum nanorings with different spin orbit interaction strengths in each ring can lead to interesting effects in spin state of electron. It is shown that a triangular network of quantum nanorings can satisfy from this point of view: by using a certain network geometry or arrangement of quantum rings, the spin state of input electron can be rotated.i.e. the input spin completely rotates to and vice versa, simply by changing the spin orbit interaction strengths by external voltage gate. In addition the same triangular network with different spin orbit interaction strengths and different ring radii can be used as a Stern-Gerlach device.
