چکیده مقاله:
Due to the limitation of energy resources and the pollution caused by them, have attention to this isue is necessary. Useing of heating and cooling equipment by building occupants to achieve a range of comfort, Will cause more energy consumption in buildings. Optimization, is one way to reduce energy consumption in buildings. This study, is examined Faculty of Engineering, University of ilam as a sample the ejucational building through simulations. The purpose of this study is how to achieve thermal comfort of occupants, using passive techniques in order to optimize the building and also reduce dependence on heating and cooling systems. Faculty of engineering building is simulated by using energy calculation software of DesignBuilder. Simulations show that the heating demand for Faculty of Engineering building, about 23%, and a similar amount for cooling for same building has been reduced by about 13%. According to the results obtained theorically the total energy consumption is reduced singnificantly and heating and cooling demand in building. Thus, by the optimization of similar buildings in the country, we can redused the share of this sector from the total energy consumption and as a result the country's total energy consumption is significantly reduced.
