The City without Car

Among the new achievements of the technology, the automobile is an apparatus which has the most destructive role in formation of mother cities. Today, urban development is more important based on the machine existence. The construction of the cities which are generally geometric and checkered, simple residential towers, non-concentrated community based on the using personal vehicle, separated homes for improving individuality, disturbance and lack of suitable density, disability of the public transportation network, street insecurity and many other factors are reasons to ignore individuals of the society as the human and fading the available spaces as the urban spaces. It is not unexpected to suppose the city without car. Referring to the past of cities, continuous construction in architectural and urban development, narrow passageways and humanely, existence of many planners theories and urban designers, construction of the urban spaces for walking and citizens attention to the spaces, are just several reasons for the possibility of the city existence without car. Preventing the accumulation of social unnecessary functions, preventing concentration and accumulation of the mother city toward regional disturbance, is one of the methods to construct new cities, the balanced communities in the widespread scale.
