The role of aura in architecture An analysis of aura (smell) as special trait in architecture

The present article is a discussion about a long nectected factor in architecture. It may be to replacethe term seeing by eye with seeing by nose. My intent is to point out to the complex and formal roleof smell (aura) in architecture, for in my opinion it is years that aestheticfactors such as form, color,light, pattern, composition have been subject to change, while all of these factors have beenreachable through the visual sense. Therefore, it may be better to look at the matter as a blindarchitect.As in the perception of a material the sense of touch and its warmth and coldness helps the visualsense, or as the hearing sense makes the sound of walking on a wooden floor, the olfactory can alsobe involved in spacing and even further become part of the design.In what follows I will deal with the different phases of aura in architecture, first, and then concludethe discussion and present the propositions.
