چکیده مقاله:

Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is one of the most popular modulation techniques that is widely used in new communication systems. One of the disadvantages of the OFDM is Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR) and one of the methods to mitigate it, is Clipping and Filtering technique. In this article with new invention the Lest Square algorithm in Finite Impulse Response (FIR) filters is used to reduce PAPR. Therefore we describe effects of PAPR, mathematical relationships and Complementary Cumulative Distribution Function (CCDF) of PAPR, basic model of OFDM system used for simulation and other parameters that are required for simulation. Then, we simulate and analyze performance of this algorithm based on three aspects: Power Spectral Density (PSD), Complementary Cumulative Distribution Function (CCDF) and Bit Error Rate (BER). Based on simulation results in FIR filters, Least Square algorithm which has linear phase versus Parks-McClellan that is very used has sufficient performance for PAPR reduction according to three aspects previously mentioned, and in the communication systems, especially for wireless communication can have basic application
