Modelling weak disposability in network DEA under full convexity assumptions

Tone and Tsutsui (2009) [1] proposed a slacks-based network DEA measure for considering intermediate products. Using this model we can provide divisional efficiencies and the overall efficiency of decision making units (DMUs). Abating emissions by decreasing the level of production activity calls weak disposability. Kuosmanen (2005) [2] pointed out a limitation in specification of weak disposability which goes back to Shephard’s (1970) [3] approach to implement this assumption. In this paper, we present a formulation of network DEA using weak disposability considering undesirable outputs under full convexity situations.
