Evaluation of Emissions and the Costs of Power Generation Using Fossil Fuels Compared with Solar Energy

None of the methods of power generation can be considered without pollution, environmental impacts, and no costs ;but the seriousness of environmental protection as well as security of electrical energy and management of using fossil fuel sources have caused the emphasis of the process of power ge neration by solar power plants. Now a days, Using present methods based on generating electrical energy via fossil fuel ,In addition to damaging un reproducible sources of energy and consuming higher costs, is the main reason for environmental pollution and impacts human health through emissions of harmful gases such as Nitrogen Oxides (No2,No2,N2o), Sulfur Oxides (So2,So3), and Carbon Oxide (Co,Co2).[1] However, due to the increasing demand for electricity in Iran, as much as we can do in the cycle of power generation, to replace fossil fuels with renewable energies, equally it is possible to minimize the destructive effects and also to reduce the cost of power generation process. In This article, examines the emissions caused by power generation using fossil fuels compared with renewable energies and their costs.
