Review of the sensors

A sensor is an object whose purpose is to detect events or changes in its environment, and then provide a corresponding output. A sensor is a type of transducer; sensors may provide various types of output, but typically use electrical or optical signals. Sensors are used in everyday objects such as touch-sensitive elevator buttons and lamps which dim or brighten by touching the base, besides innumerable applications of which most people are never aware. With advances in micro machinary and easy-to-use micro controler platforms, the uses of sensors have expanded beyond the more traditional fields of temperature, pressure or flow measurement, In this paper the fundamental practical consideration of the sensors are presented. The basic consideration of sensors are reviewed such as sensor’s data sheet, sensor performance characteristics definitions, sensor limitations, introduction to sensor electronics, sensor's systems and so forth. The important chracteristics of sensors which are difined sensors by them is presented such as transfer function, sensitivity, acuracy, linearity and etc. Another important consideration is circuitry in sonsors' field which is presented in this paper. The final pert of this paper is application consideration which is very practical consideration is the sensors' field because when the sesors are employed in reaserch and industry, these matters should be considered in order to the sensors work correctly.
