A Review on Collaborative Strategic Reading and Reading Comprehension

The aim of this study is to discuss the relative effect of Collaborative Strategic Reading onreading comprehension of learners. Some studies have been conducted in this area and thepresent study discusses them. Many students tend to read in English; so they need to be taughtreading strategies to be able to comprehend texts. Collaborative Strategic reading promotestudents’ reading comprehension. It helps students to learn specific strategies associated withenhanced reading comprehension: preview, click and clunk, get the gist and wrap up.
