چکیده مقاله:

This study was designed to investigate whether there is a significant relationship between EFL Iranian learners’ attribution for their success and failure in learning a foreign language and their willingness to communicate. To this aim, 110 English learners studying in Rah Pouyandegan Institute in Mashhad in different levels, ranging from preintermediate to advanced, were asked to participate in this study, 90 students fill out the questionnaires. The present research employed a quantitative research method applying questionnaires named Attribution Theory for ForeignLanguage Learners (ATFLL), which was validated by Pishghadam and Modaresi (2008) and the other one The Willingness to communicate in a Foreign Language Scale (WTC_FLS) developed and validated by Baghaei (2011).
