Use of Biogas in a Typical Village in Iran

Reform its energy consumption optimization is one of the principles for achieving sustainable development. Therefore, in order to correct some of the energystructures, energy resources are essential. According to the environmental problems, renewable energy sources are the best way to reduce environmentalpollution. One of these renewable energy sources is biogas, that has the role of organic matter in waste collection and control, in cities and industries. This also protect the environment against entry of greenhouse gases to the atmosphere. The paper discusses about the biogas technology and its role inreducing environmental pollution. In this study, the rural population, energy consumption is determined. Animal resources available in the village review are set, due to the volume that can be extracted from biogas energy. This study shows that biogas, could supply the energy needed, in cooking and lighting.
