چکیده مقاله:

This paper concentrates on methods of using sustainable architecture and its effect on school design. In new millennium countries and societies are faced with two major crises; environmental pollution and the completion of fossil fuels; so day-by-day the quest for using renewable energies such as solar energy, wind energy, and some others, is rising in many parts of the world. This paper surveys the impact of sustainable architecture in school design by exploring different ways of using renewable energies as an alternative to fossil fuels. A central claim of the paper is that using clean energies and technologies in school buildings in Iran will not only result in saving a lot of fuel, reducing fiscal costs and air pollution thus helping the environmental preservation but also by its own hidden curriculum will teach student how to use clean energies as ffectively as any lessons taught in those buildings.
