Identifying the factors affecting economical empowerment model of IKRF Case study: IKRF clients

Poverty is one of the most perilous social phenomena which can threaten the economical, political and cultural status of nations. Developing countries have tried lots of approaches for poverty reduction. In recent two decades, the entrepreneurship and employment via micro finance has been a convenient approach for poverty reduction and development. Imam Khomeini Relief Foundation (IKRF), as the greatest supportive organization in the country and the second revolutionary institution after the Islamic revolution, supports more than 4.5 million deprived and needy people and has spent much effort for their employment. Inspired by Islamic ideology, life giving and human empowering teachings of Islam in order to give the effective and demanded aid to the needy and deprived classes of the Islamic Nation and to provide a suitable and reliable infrastructure for collecting the cash and non cash aids of the humanitarian and noble people of Islamic Iran whether donations , vows ,charities , aids for the victims of the natural and unnatural events or religious payments (expiation , zakat , khoms and spending them in regard of uprooting poverty and material needs of the real needy people . Empowerment is then the process of obtaining these basic opportunities for marginalized people, either directly by those people, or through the help of non-marginalized others who share their own access to these opportunities. It also includes actively thwarting attempts to deny those opportunities. Empowerment includes encouraging, and developing the skills for, self-sufficiency, with a focus on eliminating the future need for charity or welfare in the individuals of the group. This process can be difficult to start and to implement effectively. We would identify the factors affecting IKRF economical empowerment model which has developed since the concept of empowerment has step foot on activities of IKRF and hence for reforming and reducing the defects of the present model we would conduct the present study. A questionnaire will be used for data gathering. This study is qualitative and applied. Our research methodology is factor analysis and would emphasize on the population of our clients who have received micro loans in 2012.
