Nowadays, one of the most critical concerns of process industries is running safe and reliable processes with minimum variation. The purpose of this paper is to ensure that safe and reliable robust design will be achieved in petroleum processes. The significance of this subject of country like Iran which petroleum industry is the dominating industry in economy is more appreciated. By applying this method to industry, deviations in production would be minimized and the system safety would be guaranteed . the approach is based on regulation which employers should follow and control measures to provide the highest standards in quality engineering by using quality tools such as fishbone diagram, failure modes effects analysis (FMEA) for reliability prediction.
