Synthesis and spectroscopy of some novel heterocyclic compounds

New diazaphospholes and diazaphosphorinanes with formula 2,4-Cl2-C6H3- (Formula is in the Text of the issu) (4) were synthesized with a convenient and efficient procedure and characterized by 1H, 13C, 31P NMR, IR spectroscopy and elemental analysis. The 31P NMR spectra revealed that phosphorus atoms are very much deshielde in diazaphospholes than indiazaphosphorinanes. The 13C NMR spectrum of 2 indicated that the 2J(P,C)aliphatic =14.2 Hz forthe endocyclic carbon is very much greater than that of the exocyclic CH3 carbon atom (5.2 Hz).Furthermore, for diazaphosphorinanes, 3J(P,C)aliphatic ≈ 2 2J(P,C)aliphatic.
