چکیده مقاله:

Objective: Persian sturgeon (Acipenser persicus Borodin,1897) is one of the most precious species which is found in the Caspian sea. During last decades, because of various kinds of pollution and destruction of natural spawning grounds, population of this species has been decreased. In comparison with other sturgeons, Persian sturgeon acclimatizes artificial foods hardly. In this study, changes in growth factors of Acipenser persicus finger lings due to artificial food ration were investigated. Method & Materials: In this research, the effect of artificial food ration of A. persicus finger lings was studied in the Propagation and Culture of Sturgeon Institute, Shahid Beheshti, in Sangar. During this research in summer 2008, 150 fish was examined with the average weight of 4.37 ± 0.55 gr and length 9.25±0.26 cm. This feeding experiment was done during 8 weeks for artificial food that is done in 3 repetition separately. Biometry for consideration of growth factors has done per 10 day. Results & Conclusion: Results showed that a significant statistical difference exist between the mean length in the first and the last biometries (p < 0.01). Also according to T-test there was a statistical difference in the weight mean between the first and the last biometries (p < 0.01). In this study, growth factors were measured as follows: body weight 443.71, specific growth rate 313.85, food conversion ratio 3.16 and condition factor 0.44.
