Investigation of Substitution Effect on Dyeing Properties of Some Cationic Dyes Based on Azo Benzothiazole Dyes

Benzothiazollyl azo dyes, containg three substituents on benzo moiety and two different dialkylaniline have been synthesized. The effect of different substitutions and electron donor and acceptor groups on their absorption spectra, dyeing properties and colorimetric data were studied. Also, their dyeability were compare with their corresponding commercial dye ( Basic blue 41).
