چکیده مقاله:

In November 2012, crown and root rot, with associated wilting of plants was observed in Tanacetum parthenium fields of Kerman (Southeast Iran). Infected root and crown tissues were cultured on potato dextrose agar. Based on morphological characteristics observed, the fungus was identified as Fusarium oxysporum. Pathogenicity tests were performed. Root and crown rot, and discoloration of xylem were observed in inoculated plants. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report of F. oxysporum on Tanacetum parthenium from Iran.
