This paper is concerned with assessing the interference rejection capabilities of linear and circular patch arrays that can be part ofbase station
of code-division multiple-access cellular communication system. In general, the SIR is a function of the direction of arrival of the desired signal and depends on the configuration of the atay, the number of elements, and their spacing. The performance criteria for signal-to-interference ratio
(SIR) improvement employed in this paper is the spatial interference suppression cofficient Here the SIR performance for linear and circular arrays of circular patch antenna is analyzed and compared b1t considering the mutual coupling.
