چکیده مقاله:
In the last few years many problems of 12D 2NoC such as high global interconnection, high power consumption and speed motivate researchers to pay more attention to a new generation of NoC. This vast researches leads to 3D NoC becomes more significant and center of attention for many researchers. 3D NoC is so young and has many problems as well, such as defects of manufacturing process and electro migration and thermal issues that urge us to investigate 3D NoC in fault tolerant routing domain. We consider a kind of three dimensional which contains partially 3D routers to reduce the area, power and energy consumption and simultaneously transmit messages from one layer to others by vertical links of 3d routers in presence of link failure. This paper focuses on admixture of both 3D and 2D router by Chess format in each layer. The significant goal of this arrangement is to reduce power consumption and possibility of failure only on vertical links. The proposed fault tolerant routing algorithm does not disable any healthy node and is easy to implement in mesh and torus. Our proposed algorithm doses not degrade performance of whole system in presence of faults. CFRA can tolerate faults which happen on vertical links and by changing the path according to faulty table in encountering faulty links through path between source and destination and by this method it dose not degrade performance of whole network.
