Along with population growth, the amount and type of waste materials have increased accordingly. Many of waste materials are non-decaying and will remain in the environment for many years. Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is polymer which the most widely used in the production of beverage bottles now and for this reason, waste of this product is abundant. Due to the long time needed for analysis of the waste material in nature, providing engineering solutions for the recycling and also further operation of aforementioned consuming materials have attracted attention of many researchers. In this article, effects of 5, 01 and 05 percent of PET particle usage instead of sand were investigated. Results show less workability of Pet concrete and a process of increasing and then decreasing in compressive strength. Ultrasonic wave tests show that concrete samples with PET particles have porous structure.
