A Contrastive Analysis ofdeterminers:a case studyofarticlesin Persian and English

In the midst of all the nouns, pronounsdeterminer is often left by the wayside, untaught or taught incorrectlymodifier which provides context to a noun.and include articles, demonstrativesdescriptive-analytical account of English and Persianapplication of the articles didn't show full compatibility in two languages e ( ا) in Persian is limitted to talking about something known or obvious to the listener.this case, using the definite article is optionalmoved and placed either at the end of the noun or the adjectiveEnglish. In Persian, the lack of an article indicates that the noun is definitedemonstratives before a noun results in definiteness.Iranian EFL students will drop the determiner 'the' in many English noun phrases sincePersian using a definite article is rare and is limittedoptional too.
