چکیده مقاله:
The construction industry plays significant role in the economy of developing countries.In addition, the industry provides high employment opportunity, probably next after agriculture. Despite the construction industry’s significant contribution to the economy of developing countries and the critical role it plays in those countries’ development, the performance of the industry still remains generally low.Project management tools, techniques, and processes have become a professional management discipline to initiate, plan, control, and close out one-of-a-kind endeavors.Project management includes developing a project plan, which includes defining and confirming the project goals and objectives, identifying tasks and how goals will be achieved, quantifying the resources needed, and determining budgets and timelines for completion. Furthermore, the level of PM maturity that assesses an organization’s current levels of PM practices has become sophisticated over the years.This article is focused on application of the project management in construction projects field and assess how can it improve productivity in this industry. The first and the most important step on this investigation is define and create a connection between multiple criteria decision analysis with project management in construction field. The objectives of this paper are, firstly to identify the key themes in project management maturity, secondly to apply those themes to understand how PMM affect in developing construction industry and thirdly to determine and show the major advantage of project management maturity which is the approach to making changes and monitoring results on a continuous basis as its fundamental methodology.
