Meroplankton Distribution Off-Shore Hormuzgan Province(Qeshm-Nayband)

The density and distribution of Meroplankton in off-shore HormuzganProvince (between Qeshm Island and Nayband) during autumn 2002 – summer 2003 were studied. Totally, 5 groups of Meroplankton were identified that Gastropoda and Decapoda had the maximum and minimum percent of density, respectively. The maximum density of meroplankton in winter with 774 n/m3 and the minimum density during spring with 88 n/m3 were determined. In addition, the maximum density in station No. 10 was observed. ANOVA indicated significant difference in density mong seasons.
