The Breast Cancer Detection Method by Using of Bees Algorithm Based on Association Rules and Neural Network

This paper presents a new method for recognizing breast cancer tumor. This method contains three main stages. In the first stage the association rules are used for feature reduction. Then bees algorithm is employed for training the classifier. At the final stage the classifier is designed by using the redial basis function neural network (RBFNN). The proposed method is applied on Wisconsin breast cancer (WBC) database and compared with other common methods. Results show that this system has higher recognition rate than the other methods.
