چکیده مقاله:

In this work, synthesis of analcime zeolite nanoparticle using of new composition of aluminosilicate solutionin the absence of any organic template by a simple hydrothermal condition was performed and then heating time, Si/Alratio, effect of stir and temperature in the synthesis and crystallinity of zeolite were optimized.Sorghum halepense is a plant in the grass family, commonly called johnson grass which is often considered as weed. Thementioned source is rich in silica and when it is burnt in air, it leads to the formation of silica ash. In this study, a simplemethod based on alkaline extraction was developed to produce pure silica from sorghum ash and proposed as a source ofsilicon dioxide for the synthesis of zeolite analcime. The chemical composition of the ash was determined by x-ray fluorescence (XRF) and it showed that the extracted silicawas including 92.34% SiO2. The efficiency of silica extraction was obtained 84%. The results of fourier-transforminfrared (FT-IR) data were also indicated the presence of siloxane and silanol groups in the extracted silica. On the other hand, other techniques were employed for characterization of the synthesized zeolite such as x-raydiffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results showed that analcime zeolite nanoparticle wassuccessfully synthesized from stem Sorghum halepense ash.
