چکیده مقاله:

With the purpose of enhancement of photocatalytic performance in the visible region and efficientelectron−hole separation, we reported a facile method for synthesis Co-Ni-Al-Zn/CNT mixed metal oxide (ZnO/MMO)nanohybrid derived from ZnO/Co-Ni-Al layered double hydroxide (LDH) precursor. The structural and morphologicalof the ZnO/MMO were characterized by XRD, SEM, DRS and FT-IR. The photocatalytic activity of synthesizedZnO/MMO/CNT was investigated by photocatalytic degradation of C.I. Acid Red 14, as a model pollutant, under visiblelight irradiation. The photocatalytic activity of ZnO/MMO/CNT were also compared with TiO2- P25, ZnO and Co-Ni-Al-Zn/CNT LDH. The experimental results revealed that in comparision with other used photocatalysts,ZnO/MMO/CNT was an efficient photocatalyst under visible light irradiation. The effect of operational parametersincluding photocatalyst content, dye concentration, pH and irradiation time on the photocatalytic removal efficiency ofdye was investigated and optimized using RSM approach. The photocatalyst dosage 0.009 g, initial dye concentration of20 mg/L, pH 4.12 and irradiation time of 150 min were obtained as optimum conditions. At the proposed optimumconditions, the catalyst reusability tests were carried out for four runs. A negligible decrease in degradation efficiencyconfirmed high potential of stability and reusability for the ZnO/MMO/CNT.
