Synthesis of Holmium oxide Nanoparticles by AFacile Process

For the first time, holmium oxide nanoparticles have been prepared via a facile thermal treatmentmethod byutilizing of novel precursor. The properties of the heat-treated samples were characterized by scanning electronmicroscopy (SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The resultsof thepresent workindicate that with the aid ofthis novelprecursorcan be producedvery uniform sphere-likepure holmium oxidenanoparticles
