A New Approachtothe Green Synthesisof Gold Nanoparticles Using Chitosan as a Biopolymer

This paper is focused on the field of synthesis of noble metal gold nanoparticles (GNPs), which the synthesisis generally considered to role the essential part in nanotechnology. As we all might be aware of, there is a growingtrend towards the title of green materials, recently. In this way, we made use of a green functionalizing agent in oursynthesis project to cover the surface of gold nanoparticles; chitosan, in order to supply a short‐term stabilization ofparticles. The recent work has been proven that such new approach is capable of drawing much attention to theenvironmentally‐friendly materials, as this is an urgent need for the health of our environment. We also supplied UVVis,FTIR, and PSA analysis to back up our claim.
