چکیده مقاله:

Nanocomposites composed by nano TiO2 (CNF) and poly lactic acid (PLA) were prepared using asolvent casting method. Nano TiO2 was added to the composite at three levels: 1, 3, 5%. Also, Glycerolas plasticizer, was added to a solution (3% w/w). Subsequently, whiteness, transparency, physical andmechanical properties of the nanocomposites were investigated. Adding nanoparticles to the filmsshowed no significant changes in the thickness. Addition of nano TiO2 to films caused enhancement thefilms whiteness and transparency. The elasticity modulus, tensile strength and elongation at break pointof neat CA specimens were 195.31 MPa, 0.97 GPa and 1.37%, respectively. Adding nano TiO2 had asignificant effect on films mechanical properties and leads to nearly a 4-fold increment in modulus ofelasticity of CA/TiO2 % 5 compared to neat CA. Also, in comparison with neat CA, the all of filmstreatments tensile strength and their elasticity modulus were increased. Only for 5% treatment thedecrement of elongation at break point and for 1% and 3% treatments the incremental effect on thisproperties was observed.
