چکیده مقاله:
In the current research PVC based/MWCNTs-co-Cu nanolayer composite nanoparticles heterogeneouscation exchange membranes were prepared by solution casting techniques using tetrahydrofuran as solvent and cationexchange resin powder as functional groups agent. The effect of MWCNTs/Cu nanolayer composite nanoparticles onphysico/chemical properties and anti-bacterial characteristic of membranes were studied. MWCNTs-co-Cu nanolayercomposite nanoparticle was prepared using magnetron sputtering method by plasma treatment. SEM and TEM imagesshowed uniform distribution for the prepared composite nanoparticles. Membrane electivity was improved by increaseof additive content in prepared membranes. Membrane ionic flux was decreased initially by increase of additive ratioup to 0.5 %wt and then showed increasing trend by more additive concentration. Modified membranes showed goodability in Escherichia coli removal.
