Development of nanobiosensor for detection of salmonella

Salmonellosis is a serious health concern and a major cause of many food poisoning cases. In this study, the synthesisand identification of nanogold particles and antibody-nanogold conjugates probe specific to salmonella wereperformed, synthesized monodispersed nanogold and nanoparticles was characterized by UV-vis light absorptionspectra , Dynamic light scattering (DLS) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).The conjugated nanoparticles was used to detect salmonella in a blotting manner. The results indicate that probespecifically detect salmonella whiles is no effect on E.coli.In future ,the resulted probe will be used in a portablebiosensor system.
