Experiments have been performed to characterize the transformation of waves over sandy beaches and to evaluate the formation and the stability of bars due to breaking under irregular waves. In our experiments, it is possible to obtain the equilibrium beach profiles with bar due to breaking with irregular waves. Different types of topographies in similarity with the nature were obtained in function of a non dimensional falling velocity.
