Evaluation of seismic operation of Pile and Deck Wharves (Case study: South Pars Petrochemical Port Wharves

Iran, with more than 3000 km coast line is one of the greatest sea sides in the world. Therefore,design, maintenance and improvement of marine construction at coastal regions are becomingessential. Between these structures, for many reasons pile and deck wharf is under special attention.In design of this kind of wharves, all standards and updated rules must be followed. These regulations protect the structure against environmental condition and extra ordinarysituations during the life of the structure. Therefore importance of these structures and their applications requires accurate studies in this field [1, 2].
