Marxist Criticism of the Story On the Road by Langston Hughes

First, we give a brief life background of the author and discuss how it influenced his future works and we reach our thesis statement. Then, we provide some basic criteria of Marxist analysis and its history of application. After that, we are going to analyze the relationship between the organized religion and the revolutionary subject using Eagleton's method. This issue leads us to the relationship between the church and the Capitalist system and then, we can see the projection of revolutionary hope in the form of Jesus. At last, we provide some explanations on how that Capitalist system can be manifested in the form of racism
