Emotional intelligence (EI) has been accepted as a human trait and ability and is one the most important issues that some psychologists and multi-disciplinary researchers pay attention to and primarily try to define it and determine its dimensions and importance in the individual life. The role of emotional intelligence in leadership, and networking during the entrepreneurial strategic process has been studied in this paper.Among all theories that could explain the reasons why some entrepreneurs are more successful than others, it seems that this reason can be directly related with their emotional intelligence. The emotional intelligence of entrepreneurs has a great relevance in their behavior, leadership, and networking roles. Moreover, the emotional intelligence of an entrepreneur is going to be a very influential factor in the outcome of a new venture, and its reflection is going to be present in many of the decisions that an entrepreneur will take during the entrepreneurial strategic process.This paper aims to analyze the role that emotional intelligence has in some ambits of the entrepreneurial strategic process, through reviewing the relevant literature review.PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to analyze the role of emotional intelligence in the ambits of leadership and networking decisions during entrepreneurial strategic process
