Background and Aim: In today s world, musculoskeletal disorders with high prevalence in most jobs is one of the most important occupational health issues. In addition to, Musculoskeletal Disorders causing personal distress decreased working capacity, waste of time, absenteeism, increased health care costs and economic losses. This study aimed to compare the prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders and its associated factors among farmers and city workers AqQala: A cross-sectional study.Materials and Methods: This study was a cross-sectional study. The Study population was included 300 patients (150 farmers and 150 workers) are AqQala city. The Data collection instrument was Nordic questionnaires. The Data was analyzed using software SPSS V and descriptive statistics and chi-square test. Results: 72 percent of participants of farmers and 83.33 percent of workers have been suffering from musculoskeletal disorders during the past year. The chi-square test had shown a significant relationship between musculoskeletal disorders with age, the level of education and principles ergonomic training in farmers P<0.05. The finding suggested there is no relationship between musculoskeletal disorders and BMI in both groups. The most common disorder in both groups was Back pain and knee pain.Conclusion: As regards the high prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders, It is necessary to organize courses of training about ergonomic professional and ergonomic intervention in order to provide information to farmers and workers that this device can be used to improve the health status of farmers and workers, prevention of musculoskeletal disorders provided.
