خلاصه مقاله:
Southeastern part of Iran experienced more than normal rainfall during intense monsoon activity in the summer, 1995. In this paper skill of Regcm3 regional climate model for modeling the summer time precipitation over Iran focusing on south-eastern regions including Sistan-balucliestan, Hormozgan and Kerman provinces has been investigated. Three experiments with different cumulus parameterizations have been done for simulation the 1995 summer rainfall of Iran and southeastern parts. Monthly simulation of model has been compared with CRU and observed data. We found that there is wet bias both on RegCM simulation and CRU data in comparing with observed data and Kue cuniulus paramerization is the best cumulus assumption according to the lower mean average errors through 118 synoptic stations over Iran and 18 stations over monsoon stricken area.
