چکیده مقاله:

many technologies were used in petroleum upstream industry , which are calssified in four main categories; exploration , drilling , production and enhanced oil recovery . Each of these main technological branches has many different sub technologies which developed for success ful and economical petroleum production. it is obvious that many of these technologies had problems and nowadays many researches going on to improve and replacing them with better ones. identifying the fundamental technological problems in petroleum upstream and giving intelligence solutions for them with high -tech technologies is very important and vital for petroleum industry competence ability and make up of growing global petroleum consumption. nanotechnology as a one of new high-tech technologies , showed very great potential in presenting cost effective solutions for many of petroleum upstream technological problems. in this study the nanotechnology based solutions such as nanosensors , nanostructured drilling bits , nanocoatings, drilling mud nano additives , and many other interesting and emeging technologies within commercialized and research area development scopes were discussed.
