چکیده مقاله:

In order to maintain underbalanced condition, bottom hole pressure must kept below the formation pressure. A detrimental damage is incurred if intermittent underbalanced drilling (UBD) with temporary overbalances. One reason shy underbalanced (UB) condition cannot be kept in iran that a precise model to measure bottom hole circulating pressure (BHCP) for two phase drilling fluid does not exist. basically , two phase contains a large number of variables and therefore is a complex subject . two phase empirical relations are limited to flow conditions and thereby do not have the merit of generality although mechanistic approaches increase the frequency for designing two phase flow systems in pipes, modeling two phase by mechanistic models through annulus using the hydraulic diameter concept is not promising enough. there fore they are incurred to large error. therefore in this paper artificial neural network is used to find BHP in the inclined annuli of UBD wells in south of iran. to compare the neural networks performance with that of the mechanistic models neural networks errors are compared with naseri et al mechanistic model which has been specifically developed for south of iran.
