Enhanced oil recovery mechanisms in fractured reservoirs are defference from the conventional . One of the essential enhanced oil recovery mechanisms in fractured reservoirs is using of gravity forces. Thermal methods help to the gravity forces and increasing of oil recovery such as steam injection. laboratory model of secondary and tertiary thermally gas oil gravity drainage TAGOGD process for light oil recovery from oil -wet carbonate fractured reservoirs are presented here. the cores were stacked together in a long vertical core holder where the annulus space between the core samples and the inner wall of core holder simulates vertical fracture. futhermore the horizontal spaces between the three core samples are considered as horizontal fractures when the capillary continuity is not maintained there. inert gas injection followed by steam injection from the top imitated the gas oil gravity drainage GOGD and TAGOGD processes for light oil recovery at two different modes. productions from the saturated cores and filled fractures with oil are started by gas injection as the first and second step following with steam injection. oil and water productions in each case are monitored carefully during the course of the experiments.
