چکیده مقاله:

Calculating of fluid transfer calculation between the matrix and fracture network needs knowledge of Matrix and fracture porosity, Matrix and fracture permeability, Matrix and fracture compressibility and Shape factor. Shape factor is often represented by the symbol ‘σ’ in units of ft-٢.This term is best understood from the Warren and Root paper (١٩٦٣) inwhich they idealized the system as a stack of sugar-cubes . The matrix–fracture transfer shape factor is one of the important parameters in the modeling of fluid flow in fractured porous media using a dualporosityconcept. In this research I prepare a review of this term from thelast and early time article on this concept. The shape factor has remained a controversial concept because, in part, a theoretical framework is missing for its interpretation among various mechanisms of recovery from fractured porous media. I hope this research help scientist with collect information.
