چکیده مقاله:

Identifying the operation mode of distribution generation is one of the most crucial challenges of applying these resources. Namely, before connecting this resource to the network, in order to optimize considered parameters, this should be identified that in which operation mode it should be operated. Many studies have been carried out to identify the best location and capacity of installing distributed resources. On the other hand, fewer studies have considered the operation mode of these resources efficiently and practically. Since the power loss and the parameter of ECOST can be considered as two most influential and crucial parameters in the field of overall cost of electricity, this study is aimed at identifying the optimal operation mode of distributed generation in order to reduce power loss and improve the parameter of ECOST, considering operation modes of basic load, peak shaving, and back up. To improve the efficiency and accuracy of the proposed method, hourly load curve is applied and the considered parameters are calculated for all hours of a year and total value of the parameter is obtained by adding up these values for each hour. To validate the proposed strategy, bus ۲ of the standard distribution network of RTBS is simulated in DIgSILENT software and the simulation results are presented and discussed.
