Review of Microwave Devices using Carbon Nanotubes

Unique properties of Carbon Nanotubes (CNTs) and its mixture withpolymers make them very interesting material for sensor application.Various chemical and electrical CNT-based sensors have beendeveloped using technology such as infrared, laser, microwave,electrical capacitance, ultrasound and extra. In the past two decadesresearchers attempted to use carbon nanotube in microwave method forsensing application. In this paper passive and active RF and microwavecircuits are envisaged to be implemented using carbon nanotubes inrecent years due to their small size and electromechanical properties.These devices are including switches, filters, antenna, resonators,oscillators, Nano Electro Mechanical Systems (NEMS) and mixers.
