In this paper, steam system used for curing concrete in a typical plant is studied and efficiency of the system is calculated as a product of efficiencies of sub-systems, using the method outlined in [1] and refined by pervious work [2]. Also, a problem that may arise during the implementation of this method, is discussed and an alternative way to conquer this problem is mentioned. Although the lack of accessible literature in the subject leaded to a simplifying assumption for efficiency of the useful tasks, the estimation shows that the boiler operates in an improper state with respect to energy consumption.
