خلاصه مقاله:
The mechanical properties of cold rolled sheets are significantly related to residual stresses arise from the bending and unbending process. The measurement of residual stresses is mostly limited to surface measurement techniques and experimental determination of stress variation through thickness which is time-consuming and needs extensive efforts. This paper presents a closed form solution for residual stresses, in which the bending and unbending process is modeled as an elastic/plastic plane strain problem. The material is assumed to be anisotropic. To validate the analytical solution, finite element simulation is also demonstrated. This study is useful for analyzing coiling-uncoiling, leveling and straightening processes.
